Vescom Metallic Sand Named 2017 SGIA Product of the Year
We’re pleased to announce that Vescom Metallic Sand digital wallcovering was named the 2017 Specialty Graphic Imaging Association’s (SGIA) Product of the Year in the media-banner, non-textile category.
Each year, companies throughout the wide-format print and graphic industry compete for the coveted SGIA Product of the Year awards, which recognize innovative and market-driving products. This year, 70 companies competed, submitting 222 entries throughout 49 categories.
“This is the best year for entries that I can remember,” says Ray Weiss, SGIA’s Digital Imaging Specialist. “In addition to the sheer volume of competitors, product quality was outstanding. Vescom’s award was well-earned!”
Vescom Metallic Sand wallcovering has a soft, texture of sand with the shine of metallic finish that creates high-definition wall art. As part of the Vescom digital media line, it’s a Type II compliant media that is certified for HP Latex Inks. Vescom digital media is the “cleanest” vinyl wallcovering on the market, meeting many stringent environmental standards.
